Well, it looks like Elon Musk is up to his old tricks again.

The billionaire entrepreneur has reportedly decided to start a new AI research lab to develop ChatGPT’s rival.

To help him out, he's recruited Igor Babuschkin, who recently left Alphabet's DeepMind AI unit, which is kind of like the Avengers of the AI world.

Musk, who had co-founded OpenAI along with Sam Altman in 2015, had left its board in 2018, but chimed in with his take on the chatbot, calling it "scary good".

Futuri, a media company in Cleveland, Ohio, has created RadioGPT, the world's first AI-driven radio host.

RadioGPT scans social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, to find out what's trending in a local market. And with the power of GPT-3 technology, it can produce a script for on-air use in no time.

Plus, the AI voices are so good that they can even mimic existing personalities' voices.

Who knows, maybe someday we'll even have an AI stand-up comedian that can make us laugh with their clever jokes.

Snapchat just dropped a new chatbot named "My AI".

This little buddy will be hanging out with you on the app's chat tab, and Snap's CEO, Evan Spiegel, thinks that AI will become a part of everyday life for more people.

Now, “My AI” is more restricted than ChatGPT.

It won't swear, talk dirty, or start any political debates. And don't even try to get it to write your academic essays because it's not that kind of bot.

While ChatGPT has quickly become a productivity tool, Snap’s implementation treats generative AI more like a persona. The Verge
