1/ How he Broke Into a Bank Account With an AI-Generated Voice

Well, it turns out that the security of banks' voice authentication systems might not be as secure as they claim.

Who needs a ski mask and a getaway car when you can just break into any bank account with some free AI-generated voices and a laptop?

Joseph Cox, in his recent article on voice, explains how he beats the bank's security system using an AI-generated voice:

• He first recorded a 5-minute audio clip of his own voice

• He then uploaded it to Eleven Labs, a powerful AI voice replication tool.

• Through Eleven Labs He is able to create a synthetic voice that just sounds like him, which helps him break into his bank account by tricking the bank's security system into thinking that it's his voice.
